Prime Big Deal Days 2026: how we checked the deals
As an Amazon Associate, BuyRight Notes earns from qualifying purchases. We pick products from published specs and our own notes, not paid placements.
Amazon's fall Prime sale ran October 6 and 7, 2026, and is over. The deals we listed for it have come down. The checks below still work for any sale, including Black Friday: offers we see on two checks at least 24 hours apart, from a named seller, on items we would suggest at full price. Under the list is how we check a sale price, so you can check anything we have not covered.
Deals that passed our check
Every deal here cleared the same four checks: we saw the offer on two checks at least 24 hours apart; we matched the exact item, variant, new condition, seller and fulfillment shown on the offer; it was in stock when we looked; and we would suggest it at full price. "Checked" under each card is the day we last observed the offer, not a promise that it is live today. We do not print prices, which change by the hour; tap through and read today's offer.
No deal is cleared right now. A deal lands here only after the offer has held for a full day and the seller checks out. Until then, start with the picks, which say what each one does well.
How we check a deal
A sale label is easy to print. These are the four things we look at before a deal goes on this page, in the order that saves the most time.
- Did we see it twice? We observed this offer on two checks at least 24 hours apart. It can still change or end. Two sightings rule out a one-hour flicker, not a short run: a price that ends early was short, not fake. Anything that moved between checks is dropped.
- Who is selling it? We match the exact item, variant, new condition, seller and fulfillment shown on the offer. A brand's storefront page does not prove the brand is the seller on the offer you tap; the "Sold by" and "Ships from" lines do. Third-party sellers are a normal part of Amazon; a good one shows a long history and clear returns terms.
- What does it usually sell for? The crossed-out number is the list price, which nobody may have paid this year. Compare against last month's price; a price-history tool shows that in one chart.
- Would we buy it at full price? If not, a discount does not change the answer.
Before you buy anything on sale
The checks above cover the offer. These cover whether the product is right for you, which matters more.
- Match the model number, seller and warranty. Search the maker's site for the model number in the listing title; sale listings often mix an older or smaller version in with the current one. Confirm the condition says New, open the seller's name to see who handles returns, and read the maker's warranty page: some makers cover any new unit, others only units from authorized sellers.
- Measure first. Counter depth, cabinet height, the spot under the desk. A sale price does not make a 17-inch machine fit under a 16-inch cabinet.
- Read what is in the box. Brush heads, filters, pods, a cover: the deal bundle sometimes has fewer than the standard one, and sometimes more.
- Check the delivery date, not the Prime logo. Prime shipping is fast, but event-week stock runs out; the date shown at checkout is the one that counts.
- Start small if you are not sure. A cheap item you already know you need makes the first order easy; add the bigger one once you trust the seller.
- Know the return window. Amazon posts the current return policy on every listing; read it before you buy anything you cannot test in a store.
Our picks that tend to see event pricing
Some categories are marked down at almost every big sale. Each link goes to our note on the pick, which says what it does well and the trade-offs worth knowing.
- Kindle Paperwhite: Amazon's own devices are the first thing discounted at every Prime event.
- Beats Studio Pro: headphones are a Prime-event staple, and this pair is on our work-from-home page.
- Ninja Professional Blender: kitchen small appliances from Ninja usually get event pricing.
- BISSELL Little Green Mini: a spot cleaner that often drops during the fall sale; read our note before you step up to the bigger model.
- eufy E25 robot vacuum and mop: robot vacuums are among the deepest Prime discounts; the dock is tall, so measure first.
- KitchenAid Artisan stand mixer: the classic holiday-season markdown; the popular colors sell out first.
Questions people ask
When were Prime Big Deal Days 2026?
October 6 and 7, 2026. The event is over; early deals for the next big sale usually show up on listings the week before it, marked on the listing.
What does the "Checked" date under a deal mean?
The day we last observed that offer, not today's availability. It can change or end after that date; open the listing to see what it says now.
Do I need Prime to get the prices?
Yes for the Prime-exclusive deals, which is most of them. Some listings show a lower price to everyone; the listing says when a deal is Prime exclusive.
Is a Prime Big Deal Days price the lowest of the year?
Not always. Some items go lower on Black Friday, and Amazon devices are often close to the same price at both. If you can wait, compare against last November in a price-history tool.
Should I wait for Black Friday instead?
If you need the item before Thanksgiving, buy it when a deal passes the checks above. If it is a gift you can hold, waiting costs little and may save more.
