Hatch Baby sound machine and night light
"A calmer bedtime routine: soft light and soothing sounds, started with one big button or from your phone."
Why we picked it
We chose it for new parents building a bedtime routine from night one.
- Soothing sounds like pink noise and heartbeat, with a soft night light
- Big button on top to start or pause without reaching for your phone
- Includes 3 months of Hatch+ sleep guides; optional after that
- Size
- 4 in wide, 5 in tall, 6 in deep; 1.7 lb
- Power
- plugs in (power cable included); the app connects over Wi-Fi
- Colors
- five, including the Putty shown here
Skip it if you would rather not use an app.
Before you buy
- It needs the app for setup and most routines over Wi-Fi; the big button on top only starts or pauses.
- Power: it plugs in (cable included), so plan the outlet by the crib.
- Hatch+: 3 months of sleep guides are included, then optional; sounds and light work without it.
Fits: New parents building a bedtime routine: pink noise or heartbeat, a soft night light, one button to start.
Not for: Anyone who would rather not run a nursery device from a phone app.
Goes with
- Fenmzee bedside lamp, dimmable touch with USB: a dimmable lamp for the nursery chair
